Schwinn AirDyne Exercise Bike

Schwinn Airdyne Exercise Bike

The Schwinn Airdyne was introduced in 1978 and remains a unique concept to this day - other companies have tried to copy the idea but haven't been able to match the Schwinn Airdyne bike. This Schwinn stationary bike is resistance based, which means that the harder you pedal the more resistance you encounter. It achieves this by means of a fan at the front that sucks in air as you pedal: you remain in complete control, the less hard you pedal the less resistance; the more you push the harder the resistance.

The Schwinn Airdyne exercise bike has a low-impact design and has the advantage of working the arms and upper body during the work out.

There are two models, the Schwinn Airdyne and the Schwinn Airdyne Evolution Compo. They are priced at around $700 and $850 resp.
