This Schwinn stationary bike is resistance based, which means that the harder you pedal the more resistance you encounter. It achieves this by means of a fan at the front that sucks in air as you pedal: you remain in complete control, the less hard you pedal the less resistance; the more you push the harder the resistance.
The Airdyne exercise bike has a low-impact design and has the advantage of working the arms and upper body during the work out.
