Weslo Exercise Bikes

Weslo make low cost exercise bikes that are ideal for entry-level or casual users of gym equipment. Each Weslo exercise bike comes with more features than might be expected from a piece of fitness equipment in its price category and each is quite capable of giving all but the most serious of users a serious workout. While a Weslo might not be a top rated exercise bike, reviews of Weslo exercise bikes are quite favorable with a rating that is well above average.

Weslo Upright Exercise Bike

For an incredibly low cost of around $80, the Weslo Pursuit 2.0 DS bike is outstanding value for money. The cross-training arms give you a good upper body workout - the arm resistance is independent to the bike's strap resistance. the console is very basic but you do get speed, time, distance and calories burned displayed, which is fine for a cheap exercise bike.

The Weslo Pursuit 4.0 bike (pictured left) retails for around $150 and its SMR™ Silent Magnetic Resistance provides smooth operation while 4 Pacer workouts help you get in shape. This Weslo pursuit exercise bike also comes with a heart rate monitor.

The Weslo Pursuit E40 bike is the top-of-the-line model and costs around $300. It comes with EKG™ grip pulse sensors, eight built-in workouts, SMR™ silent magnetic resistance and has a user capacity of 250lbs. The LCD console is the largest and best of this series of Weslo Pursuit exercise bikes.

Weslo Recumbent Exercise Bike

There are several models including the Pursuit E23, E21, 4.5 R and E45. Each offers different feature-lists, user capacity and build quality.

The most expensive and best Weslo recumbent exercise bike is the 4.5R (pictured left). It retails for around $200, which represents fantastic value for money. You get a large LCD console, 6 personal trainer workouts, Easy Pulse™ heart rate monitor and SMR™ Silent Magnetic Resistance.

The Weslo 360 R exercise bike also retails for around $200 and can be purchased from Sears. It comes with all of the features that come with the 4.5R, but in addition the machine has 10 resistance levels, so can choose the one that gives you the best cardiovascular workout.

If you want a Weslo recumbent exercise bike then the 360R is your best bet; in fact, it's possibly the best recumbent exercise bike of any brand in this price range.
